Why we are asking

Google requires every new developer account to run a closed test before an app may go on the Play Store: at least 12 testers, opted in continuously for 14 days. It is not a quality bar we failed — it is a gate everyone passes through once.

Every tester brings the launch closer — and the two weeks cannot start until the twelfth person is on board.

Join the tester group

Google needs the address of the Google account on your phone — the one the Play Store is signed in with. Joining the group registers exactly that address, so you never have to send it to us.

Accept the test invitation

Open the opt-in link on the same Google account and press Become a tester. Do this after step 1 — the page will not recognise you before you are in the group.

Install and use it

The same page then offers a Play Store download. Open the app a few times over the two weeks and tell us anything that looks wrong — genuine feedback is part of what Google asks us to report.

Keep it for 14 days

This is the one that matters. The 14 days must be uninterrupted and need 12 people at once — if someone opts out on day 10, the counter restarts for everybody.

No iPhone version yet. The app is a wrapper around this website, so nothing you see in it is new to you — which is exactly why the test is quick and painless.
